Unique gem
We were looking for a suitable location to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in the presence of family and friends. When we came across “Chalet Sol Croupet” in Harre in our search, it exceeded our wildest expectations. This holiday home, located in beautiful surroundings, really offers everything for a cozy and comfortable meal and a chat. Cozy comfortable bedrooms where the private showers, toilets and sinks guarantee peace and privacy. This was especially appreciated by the older adults. An authentic bar with a fireplace made it possible to start the evening with a nice aperitif in bad weather. Just reading the beautiful and wonderful sayings at the bar put our guests in a great mood. Children and grandchildren could enjoy themselves in the beautiful garden with its numerous child-friendly facilities, such as an Indian forest and western lounge. Both in the spacious veranda and on the terrace, large tables are provided for breakfast, lunch or dinner together. We were lucky enough to enjoy a bright October sun so we could make paella outside on the terrace. But barbecue is also possible and this even in a separate BBQ house where you can relax by a crackling fire. The fact that even some music and dancing fun is possible, while the little ones sleep in the adjoining house, is an asset that we cannot emphasize enough. But also those who prefer to chill out can opt for a sauna or have a more active time in the relaxation room. We also used the catering service ourselves and were very satisfied with this. But cooking is also easy in the well-equipped kitchen. The owners take great care of the house and garden and rightly demand respect from the tenants. The fact that all this is also offered in what we feel is a fair price/quality ratio means that we can now look back on an unforgettable weekend. The cleaning costs that are charged are also very reasonable so that we could leave this beautiful location in peace and without much hassle, albeit not without homesickness. Paradise for families
"It was our fourth stay in a row in this cozy, large chalet. Our 7 grandchildren have a huge playground and we, parents and grandparents, enjoy the peace, the greenery, the outdoor lounge, the view from the garden, the forest walks, playing in the nearby Ourthe. The owners are charming people and we feel at home: the stay is neat and offers every comfort, without unnecessary luxury, ideal with young children. This year there was the surprise that the site had doubled in size, and there were all kinds of children's toys made from the trees that had to be put around. There were swings, climbing course, bear hut, hammock, ... in short, a play paradise. A must for family holidays. Familie Sas
Coziest, cutest, prettiest
We have been here with friends and children. We have been doing this for years with the same group and therefore have some experience. And this was one of the nicest, nicest and nicest places we've been to. Very friendly owners who are rightfully proud of their home. Really nothing to criticize and very correct. Super charmingly decorated with nice cozy places where everyone found their place. The bbq house has also charmed us. Especially the men had a lot of fun here. Our children love to romp and this was paradise for them. Our sauna master spoiled some of us in the sauna. Everything is there. All very comfortable and good beds. Good sanitary facilities and cozy fireplace. We had a nice weekend with 25 people. We felt at home there and some of us even said they could live here. We would like to return, but we will probably be with 30 people next year, so we will have to look for a larger location.

A real play paradise for the kids
"We were able to consider the chalet our home for a weekend. We really didn't get bored for a moment, despite the bad weather. Everything was tidy, enough material in the kitchen and what a lovely veranda with a large table (and a beautiful view). The children had a great time playing hide and seek, ping pong, the reading corner, dressing up with the dressing up hats, playing bar, playing in the cowboy village despite the rain (wow, how beautifully this was made!). "We enjoyed the cozy chalet from start to finish! Reception was warm with a tour where you notice how much work and care Marlies puts into this chalet. Nice house, unique location
"We enjoyed our stay at Sol Croupet. A warm welcome, followed by a tour and our holiday could start well. We were 16 adults and a few children. The bar was the place to be during the aperitif. The kitchen is practical furnished, there are nice rooms with good sanitary facilities and the beds have good mattresses. proceeds correctly, with meter readings taken on arrival and departure. Corona-proof and lots of space
'What a wonderful weekend we had in this holiday home! Especially now in the corona time, there is plenty of room for the kids and adults to move around: the Indian forest, scrambling on the tree trunks, the bbq house, the many seating areas and terraces, etc. You don't have to leave the site at all. The reception and communication with Marlies was also very correct and friendly! Certainly worth repeating for us.'

Out of the ordinary
"Our arrival was as jovial and friendly as if we already knew you. That gave a nice feeling to start the weekend. Everyone was enthusiastic when entering the chalet because of the unique and special atmosphere of this tree trunk chalet. The cozy bar and the large fireplace is the eye-catcher when you enter and suddenly creates the right atmosphere. The house is all alone, surrounded by greenery. The view from the terrace is fantastic! Too bad we could not all sit together at the large table, but I heard that a larger table has been ordered. What is especially striking is the cleanliness of this large wooden chalet. 👍 If you are looking for something in the Ardennes that is out of the ordinary, this house is extraordinary!" "We really enjoyed our stay in your chalet. It was the 4th time we came to your chalet and everything is always in order and perfectly clean on arrival. It is easy to make good arrangements with you about arrival and departure. From the first moment you can enjoy the comfort of the large living room and veranda where a large group can easily eat together. The BBQ house serves perfectly as a nice place to chat together during a bbq. The location is perfect for taking a walk and enjoying nature. Cozy interior and large terrace
"Last weekend we were able to enjoy your hospitality in chalet Sol Croupet. With the whole family of 23 people, young and old had a wonderful weekend. The surroundings were great, we didn't have to be bored for a minute. The chalet was also cozy and warm furnished and we were able to make full use of the large terrace due to the summery autumn weather. We also had a delicious barbecue in the barbecue hut. "We stayed in Sol Croupet for a weekend during the summer and really enjoyed our stay in full nature. The children enjoyed themselves outside, we enjoyed socializing in the barbecue hut and at the bar. The house is very cozy and there is plenty of room for a large group. "The chalet is a very pleasant surprise, much nicer than the photos on the website suggest. Located on a large piece of land with a large terrace from which you have a beautiful view of the village. "This house is really in the middle of nature (my navigation did not know the unpaved road to it). The owners are friendly and give tips for walking in the area. In the evening the deer walk right up to the door! and you can walk from the house in the woods. Enough space for everyone with a cozy fireplace and BBQ house so that we could BBQ despite the bad weather."

Big but cozy and atmospheric!
"Sol Croupet is a wonderfully warm house. Large enough for a large group of young and old, but still very cozy and attractive. All conveniences are present in the house, make sure you handle the dishwasher well. The owners have a love for the house and are caring. They (very rightly) also expect our attention and care for the house. Environment is also wonderful! Highly recommended :-)."

Home is our number 1 priority
"We, a group of friends/family, had a great time in Sol Croupet, a fantastic chalet with a great interior. Exactly what we are looking for, not too sterile or too modern, but nice and cozy, warm and spacious enough for our group. The children can have a good time here. In the garden there is also a spacious cottage with a BBQ fireplace, which is absolutely great for evening entertainment, so the children can sleep well and the parents can play a nice game while enjoying a snack and drink. We have been going on the road in the Ardennes for almost 10 years now, but this house is our number 1."

And this certainly succeeded in Chalet Sol Croupet: everyone was impressed by the beautiful chalet, perfect There was a separate room and bathroom for each family, so everyone had their intimacy. The kitchen, the bar and the BBQ house are well equipped. There is a beautiful, large garden to play with everyone, and we made a nice walk in the area. Really an ideal address for a successful weekend with family or friends."
